Our client, a leader in the engineering and construction industry, is seeking a Piping Support Engineer to join their team. As a Piping Support Engineer, you will be part of the Structural Engineering Department supporting multi-disciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Job Title: Piping Support Engineer
Location: On-site at Kennedy Space Center, FL (Remote considered)
Pay: Competitive with per diem available for non-local hires
Key Responsibilities:

Design and locate supports for various piping systems

Perform calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards

Collaborate with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers

Ensure designs meet cost-effectiveness and quality standards

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors
Requirements :

Due to government contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is necessary for this role.

Strong knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 codes and standards

Experience with structural analysis programs

PE Registration (Preferred)

Experience with GTStrudel or Pipe SupportModeler software (Preferred)
