We're seeking a Director of Infrastructure to join our Engineering team in New York .

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee and direct Network Operations and Infra DevOps teams, ensuring seamless and stable company-wide technology infrastructure solutions.
• Implement strategic plans to keep Nexxen’s technology infrastructure aligned with industry standards and ahead of the trends.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of Nexxen’s global data centers, global IP network, and core networking services.
• Oversee automation efforts for infrastructure deployment, including bare metal server provisioning and Kubernetes cluster provisioning.
• Manage and enhance the company's observability platforms, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and observability across all systems.
• Work with vendors to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products.
• Budget management for production server/network/storage equipment, network circuits, data center colocation services, CDN services, and more.
• Partner with Security and GRC teams to deliver infrastructure that meets Nexxen’s stringent security and compliance requirements.
• Continuously improve infrastructure efficiency – leverage cost optimizations and tune for optimal resource utilization.

What will I bring?

• 5+ years of experience in a technical management role focused on network and infrastructure delivery.
• Proven experience in managing infrastructure for critical high-volume product platforms with customer SLAs.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams towards achieving common goals.
• Deep technical understanding of networking technologies, data center architecture, DNS, service discovery, Linux, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to develop and implement long-term strategic plans that align with organizational goals and drive progress.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Proficient in budget planning and management, optimizing resource allocation, and achieving cost efficiencies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex infrastructure challenges.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Current knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in infrastructure and networking.
