Civil Design Engineer career opportunity available!Seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join a dynamic team in Charlotte, NC.Pay Rate: ~ +/- $30-$48/hour (Higher pay negotiable, Based on experience, education, and licensure – EIT or PE)This is a fantastic long-term career opportunity to join a company with a solid project pipeline and potential for professional growth.Key Responsibilities:Design commercial land development projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion/sedimentation control.Perform calculations and detailed analysis for all aspects of site design.Collaborate with clients and internal teams from schematic design to construction administration.Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.Passed the FE exam.3+ years of experience in commercial land development, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.Proficiency in Civil 3D.Familiarity with current codes, design guidelines, and stormwater management practices.Preferred Qualifications:EIT or PE certification.Experience with commercial projects, particularly large-scale developments (e.g., warehouses, big-box retail).About the Company: We are partnering with a highly respected A&E firm specializing in commercial land development projects.
