Job Duties:
- Applies technical expertise to designs, ensuring projects align with specifications.
- Communicates challenges related to scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Collaborates with Designers and Drafters to finalize design packages.
- Develops familiarity with CAD programs and software analysis tools used in engineering design.
- Assists in preparing basic designs or portions of larger projects, including calculations and drawings.
- Takes the lead on discipline-specific designs for simple projects and supports more complex projects, performing basic technical analyses.
- Engages with clients on a limited basis.
- Understands and adheres to relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Communicates professionally and clearly, ensuring messages are timely and appropriate for the subject matter.
- Identifies key information for communication to clients and stakeholders through team leads and project managers.
- Reviews and self-checks work before submission, ensuring minimal errors, and participates in peer and quality control reviews.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Design or GIS Design is a plus
- Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment
