Description:

Insight Global is seeking to hire an Axiom Developer for one of our largest financial clients. This individual will be joining a team within the Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology space. This individual will need hands on development of quality (i.e. readable, performing and supportable) AXIOM Code, delivering the functionality detailed in the technical specifications helping with Axiom technical design. This position sits 3x onsite in Plano, TX, Chicago, IL, or Atlanta, GA.

Day to Day:

• Ensuring code/configuration written meets the predefined company and department standards
• Review requirements documents to ensure the functional requirements are well understood
• Review PL/SQL codes to handle performance tuning exercises
• Preparation and execution of detailed unit test cases to test the Axiom code in Controller View
• Coordinate implementation including packaging of code and obtaining the required approvals
• Coordinate and communicate with business counterpart other cross functional team for requirement gathering, testing, implementation and delivery
• Provide BAU and post-implementation support

Must Haves:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Axiom developer
• Ability to do Axiom configuration from Data source, Data model, portfolios aggregations
• Proficient in Database, SQL Data structure and algorithm design
• Development and review of PL/SQL code to support data sourcing into Axiom understanding end to end data flow from DB to Axiom
• Knowledge of scripting language for assisting in automation activities
• Agile

Nice to Have:

• Tableau experience or working experience with any BI tool is a plus
• Automation Tools- Python, Unix
