Software Developer Full Performance

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support its federal client in Northern VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

1. Designing, developing, and modifying applications using Java.
2. Designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
3. Providing the operations and maintenance of operational systems.
4. Installing, managing, and securing Linux systems.
5. Updating data in a RDBMS and creating and modifying stored procedures.
6. Modifying existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
7. Developing software system testing and validation procedures.
8. Documenting code, user guides, user stories, and other references.

Knowledge of:

• Agile processes and procedures - SAFe, Scrum
• Google Web Toolkit
• Visual Basic
• Oracle or other RDBMS
• A&A process and providing support

The successful candidate will bring extensive knowledge of O&M, hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering and Java development, and an understanding of the agile software development lifecycle. Your role will be crucial, as it combines technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for continuous learning, contributing significantly to our team's success.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors and 3 years, or Associate and 7 years; or 7 years’ experience
• ISSA/TS/SCI++ clearance
