Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Oak Brook, IL. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment, primarily utilizing Allen Bradley machinery. Responsibilities

Perform PLC troubleshooting and programming to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
Conduct electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in machinery.
Maintain and repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and Servo Motors.
Execute routine maintenance checks and inspections on all equipment.
Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and improvements.
Assist in the installation and wiring of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve maintenance processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in PLC troubleshooting and programming, preferably with Allen Bradley systems.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems.
Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and Servo Motors.
Hands-on experience in PLC wiring and installation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Relevant technical certifications or degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
