A bit about us:
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' electrical systems. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Engineer will provide electrical design, engineering, and power system analysis services. This role also encompasses project management, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance at customer facilities, along with providing technical support to in-house teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Arc Flash Analysis:

• Conduct thorough arc flash studies to identify potential hazards in electrical systems.
• Utilize specialized software to model systems and calculate incident energy levels.
• Create arc flash labels to ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.

Electrical System Design:

• Design and optimize electrical systems for reliability, performance, and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate safety measures into all electrical designs.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop and implement maintenance programs in coordination with Field Services to improve the reliability of electrical equipment.

Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Provide technical assistance for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
• Support team members in solving complex electrical problems.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, studies, and compliance efforts.
