The Project Engineer is responsible to help facilitate project delivery and administrative requirements related to planning, management and communication through effective day-to-day administration and coordination of projects. Works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other project team members, including clients, in support of the success of a project.Responsibilities:Develop industry relationships and expand professional networks that have potential to generate future sales opportunities.Create and maintain the internal and external project logs as necessary.Maintain internal and external reports as necessaryAssist the Project Manager(s) with updating project tasks in software systems in conjunction with processing Requests for Information, Submittals, Drawing Logs, and other management tools.Ensure the proper bid documents are sent to bidders for various bid packages as they come online. Build and maintain the bidders list.Maintain current construction documents.Receive and act accordingly on RFI's from contractorsReview and process submittals; maintain submittal log.Support the management of the day-to-day project including but not limited to; responding to pay requests, change orders, RFI's, submittals, contracts, purchase orders and closeout.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering0-2 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site experience in the management of new construction and the renovation of existing assetsBasic MEP knowledgeProficient in MS OfficeValid Driver's License RequiredLEED AP PreferredPhysical Demands and Working Environment:The conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
