BL Companies has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hydrologic and Hydraulic Engineer, with 12+ years experience, to grow our transportation team in our Hartford office. This position is for a senior-level engineer to work on bridge projects in Connecticut and would assist BL's staff on similar projects in the northeast.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversight and completion of hydrologic and hydraulic tasks, including report preparation and reviews.
2. Design and selection of hydrologic flows, hydraulic modeling analysis, scour depth calculations, countermeasure design, and floodway analysis.
3. Development of permit applications.

Required Experience:

1. PE preferred.
2. Excellent oral and technical writing skills.
3. MicroStation experience a plus.
4. Permitting experience a plus.
5. Two-Dimensional modeling experience a plus.
