Job Description:
A successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our groundbreaking coupon and discount platform. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and always available, enabling us to deliver an exceptional user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development and IT teams to design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable infrastructure.
- Manage and monitor our cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement automation tools and processes for efficient deployment, scaling, and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Oversee the security of our systems, implementing best practices and staying updated on potential threats.
- Collaborate on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Lead efforts to optimize system performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a fast-paced, cloud-based environment.
- Strong Linux background with Linux certification, preferably at the level 2.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
- Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Engineer are a plus.
