Power BI MidLevel Developer

Job Title: Power BI Mid-Level Developer (Business Intelligence - Advanced Analytics Developer)
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Dallas, TX; Pleasanton, CA; or San Francisco, CA)
Hours: 40 per week

About the Role:
As a Power BI Mid-Level Developer at GPS Services, Inc., you will work on advanced analytics projects, creating and optimizing Power BI reports and visualizations. You’ll handle large data volumes, develop scripts, and use best practices for building industry-grade solutions. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite per week at one of the specified Gap locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage large data sets and utilize various Power BI storage modes.
• Develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts, providing in-depth analysis and insights.
• Build optimized, industry-grade Power BI reports, ensuring data validation.
• Leverage DAX expressions for advanced computations and report optimization.
• Apply Power BI's Row-Level-Security and use performance analyzer tools for DAX query functions.
• Create paginated reports using RDL/Power BI service for large audiences.
• Demonstrate tool workarounds to overcome limitations.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Power BI features, functionalities, and application security models.
• Experience with performance analysis and building highly efficient visualizations.
• Strong understanding of DAX queries and Power BI report optimization .
• Capable of validating data against source and managing security with Row-Level-Security .
