The Opportunity:

About the Team:

The Cyber Defense, Ops and Engineering team at Sephora is responsible for incident response, security operations, event monitoring, threat analysis, and delivering innovative security solutions that support our clients' and business needs.

Your role at Sephora:

As an intern in Cybersecurity Engineering, you are expected to be well organized, reliable, a strong communicator, detail-oriented, demonstrate good judgment, be confident working in a team or independently, and comfortable in handling confidential information. The role involves regular interaction with various groups and leadership within the organization to accomplish job responsibilities.

You will also be responsible for designing, building, and deploying security solutions for Sephora. This position requires a good understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts and cybersecurity concepts. Scripting knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy solutions that support identity and access management or cybersecurity requirements for our clients.
  • Work closely with application owners and teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement appropriate, scalable solutions.
  • Document configurations, processes, and procedures for deployments.
  • Assist the CyberSOC team with platform/user analysis and/or forensics as needed.
  • Exercise your soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving in everyday work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of IAM principles, protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP), and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Compensation:

The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This job will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.
