Job Summary:
Inspector who can operate a Program & Operate a CMM with PC-DMIS (Browne & Sharpe) or Calypso (ZEISS).
A CMM Programmer & CMM Operator who can do inspection.
Conducts inspections of products (parts, assemblies, raw materials, tooling, instruments, etc.) to validate
compliance to design data requirements which include drawings, specifications, and contract requirements at predetermined steps in the manufacturing process using basic inspection methods and tools.
Job Details:
• Inspects a variety of parts using measuring/inspection instruments (e.g. micrometers, gauges and calipers) with proper inspection techniques.
• Reads, interprets and utilizes Quality policies, procedures, blueprints and other documentation.
• Performs receiving, in-process, final inspection & 1st article approval of manufactured, assembled, and tested hardware and components.
• Operates computer systems to perform inspection tasks.
• Verifies all work order documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Administers visual and physical inspections of units and subassemblies.
• Completes unit shakedowns (when required) to check for foreign objects, rattles and loose internal hardware.
• Responsible for (FA) First Article Inspections and completes related documentation.
• Performs administrative tasks associated with files management.
• Conducts Preliminary Material Reviews (PMR) as needed.
CMM Programmer experience is REQUIRED with PC-DMIS (Browne & Sharpe) or Calypso (ZEISS).

- (CMM) Coordinate-measuring Machine Programmer experience is REQUIRED with PC-DMIS (Browne & Sharpe) or Calypso (ZEISS).
- Thread gages
- Micro-hite
- Drop indicator
- Surface indicator
- (FA) First Article Inspection knowledge
- Visual inspection
- Blue print reading and comprehension
- Prior experience with reading blueprints, GD&T, mechanical inspections.
Education Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident
Other Requirements:
- Equipment: Steel toed shoes (not provided) and safety glasses (provided).
- Must pass vision test!
- Pass a background and drug test
