Job Description Summary:

Senior cloud security engineer with 5-7 years experience securing infrastructure and services in AWS and Azure clouds.

Job Overview:

As a senior cybersecurity engineer focused on cloud security with Rocket Software, you will be part of a global, fast-paced IT organization with a mission to provide world-class service to software development labs and internal departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the security of company data and workloads in public cloud infrastructure, providing guidance and reports on cyber risk remediation. Responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing, and resolving security incidents proactively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Deploy, manage and maintain the enterprise cloud security technology stack.
2. Utilize a wide range of security capabilities including native cloud tooling and 3rd party platforms.
3. Develop playbooks for incident response and best practices focused on cloud architectures.
4. Create a companywide program for secure cloud services in coordination with the CISO.
5. Coordinate with external security partners on critical security workflows.
6. Support the investigation and remediation of cyber events and incidents.
7. Analyze, assess and test for cyber threats across enterprise clouds.
8. Protect Rocket customer and intellectual property (IP) data.
9. Develop and present reports detailing approach, analysis techniques, results and recommended remediations.

Required Qualifications:

1. At least 7 years of experience securing public cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
2. Hands-on experience with tools such as Palo Alto Prisma, Wiz, Orca or Lacework.
3. Experience with secure cloud networking, compute and data workloads.
4. Experience securing CI/CD cloud delivery pipelines.
5. Knowledge of secure cloud architecture and best practices.
6. Experience with GCP and IBM clouds is desirable.
7. Experience with scripting languages is a plus.
8. Excellent troubleshooting skills, self-motivated, results-driven and well organized.
9. Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate are desirable.

Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $114,048.00 - $142,560.00 /year.
