They are now seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background in engineering, preferably mechanical or industrial, and have a passion for driving process improvements and ensuring product excellence.

Focus:

  • Utilize engineering principles to oversee and enhance quality control processes, ensuring that products meet the highest standards.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement, utilizing advanced methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to optimize processes and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify areas of improvement and apply data-driven approaches for problem-solving and variation reduction.
  • Implement and manage statistical process control (SPC) techniques and other quality management tools to ensure consistency in product quality.
  • Effectively manage quality-related projects, driving them from conception through to completion within the production or engineering environment.

Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated success in applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies within a manufacturing or engineering setting.
  • Previous hands-on experience with process control, statistical analysis, and variation reduction tools such as SPC and DOE (Design of Experiments).
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Prior experience with structured approaches to enhancing quality and resolving complex issues is strongly preferred.
