Job Title - Senior Software Engineer (SAP FI & Sales, FSCM, IDOC, PI, proxies and RFC, Hana, DevOps)

Location - Hybrid

This is a HYBRID role, which requires the worker to be onsite at the client facility in Johnston, IA, 50% of the time at manager discretion. Current schedule is in office (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday but every other Wednesday they are not needed in the office).

Senior Software Engineer Work Duties

• Work with Product Manager, Scrum Master & Engineering Manager to ensure that delivery timelines are met
• Participates in daily and weekly Scrum ceremonies
• Pair with team members & transition knowledge across the Credit Management team
• Provide Technical Leadership & Coaching
• Provides technical leadership for the purpose of developing portions of a product design or product change of a complicated nature in order to ensure products have the required cost, reliability, schedule and performance integrity. Is recognized as an expert across a division.
• Leads in resolution of difficult technical issues
• Innovation & Discovery
• Leads in the solution of product related complex problems
• Provides technical advice to the team and business

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated capability and curiosity to learn new technologies outside of SAP and are willing to bring meaningful and innovative ideas for how to improve processes and reduce tech debt
• Experience in SAP FI and Sales & Distribution integration
• 5 or more years of functional & technical experience with FSCM and integration with Sales & Distribution
• 5 or more years of working with SAP Interfacing methodologies IDOC, PI, proxies and RFC
• 2 or more years of experience with DevOps principles and lean development such as Continuous Integration (e.g. GitHub) and Continuous Delivery (e.g. Jenkins, Active Control etc.)

Skills -

• S4 Hana (especially conversion from ECC to S4)
• Experience with APIs
• OpenAPI, Postman, NodeJS, AWS Lambda, OAuth
