l Hands-on experience performing CICS systems programming and problem resolution in a mainframe z/OS sysplexed operating system environment with “Intermediate-level” knowledge and understanding of both CICS and OEM products and how they interact.
l Thinks creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement
l Knowledgeable across CICS Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Design (compliance, security), Connectivity (planning, securing)
l Understanding in the following platform products and features within z/Series CICS:
l CICS Transaction Server, CICS Plex System Manager(CPSM, WUI) , VSAM RLS, CICS Webservices(CWS, Sockets, IPIC, TCPIP), CICS Security(Keyring, Certificates, TLS, resource access, ACF2, RACF), USS (Unix Systems Services), CICS connectivity (LU6.2, MRO, ISC, CWS, Sockets, TCPIP, EXCI)
l Knowledge of these OEM products:
l CAFC, SYSII, Mainview, Xpediter, Abend-aid/FX
l Knowledge of SYSPLEX and CICSPLEX design, architecture, support
Nice to Have:
Ability to read CICS dumps and traces is a plus.
