Our client, a Midwest manufacturing organization, located in the southwest suburbs, is looking to add an EDI administrator/analyst to their team. Over 1 billion in revenue does business globally and has 30 locations. Prefer local candidates, No sponsorship, Green Card US Citizen only

Support and maintain the EDI system, Sterling B2B Integrator . Ensure proper handling and timely processing of electronic data files. Coordinate file transfers between systems, business partners, and customers. Perform system upgrades and provide performance monitoring.

What you get to do!

• Perform system configuration, maintenance, trouble shooting and support of the existing EDI systems and relationships.
• Business process development with BPML, using Business Process Modeler.
• AS2 setup and configuration using Sterling AS2 module and FTP. Support Sterling VAN protocols.
• Responsible for upgrades and enhancements of the EDI software.
• Design, test, and implement EDI translation maps.
• Provide support for the end users whether EDI staff, vendors or customers.

What you need to know!

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or related field. Business experience may qualify as equivalent qualification.
• 2+ years supporting mapping made to order perfer Sterling B2B Integrator but will consider other EDI experience
• 5+ years of operational and/or system experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
