Sr. LabVIEW Developer

We are seeking a skilled Test Equipment Engineer with extensive experience in developing automated test software using LabVIEW to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test equipment and systems used in the validation of (electromechanical) products. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test equipment systems, software and fixtures for product validation and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to define test requirements and specifications.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of prototypes and final products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Create and maintain documentation for test procedures, equipment, and results.
• Implement improvements to existing test processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on test equipment operation and maintenance.
• Assist in the integration of automated test systems and software solutions.
• Analyze test data and generate reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in test technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in test equipment design and development.
• Familiarity with CAD software for design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as LabVIEW, Python, or C# for test automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with RF test equipment and protocols is a plus.
