Join Kwik Trip, Inc.'s Store Engineering Department as a Delivery Driver where you will be responsible for the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of equipment/fixtures and materials from vendors and Kwik Trip retail locations. This person will also work in the Store Engineering Warehouse where he/she will:
- Load and unload warehouse supplies and equipment
- Verify purchase order requests and track warehouse inventory items
- Operate forklifts and comply with all OSHA and DOT safety requirements
- Maintain log books and vehicle inspection reports
- Work closely with several Kwik Trip Departments
- Assist with the organization and upkeep of the Store Engineering Warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL with a good driving record; prior commercial driving experience is required.
- Candidates should also possess the following:
- knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation to identify and diagnose potential mechanical challenges
- ability to operate a piggyback lift to load/unload trucks
- familiarity with the surrounding area to facilitate timely pick-ups and deliveries
- demonstrate a high level of customer service as this person has primary interaction with retail locations
- demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- understand and accurately complete invoice paperwork
- self-motivated and a team player
- willingness to learn/perform a variety of job tasks
- ability to exercise sound judgment within company guidelines
- work with minimal supervision
- work in a fast- paced safety conscious environment
- willingness to work in all temperature conditions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to operate a personal computer
- Knowledge of or ability to learn Maximo
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience is a plus
- Must live or relocate to the La Crosse, WI area
