Field Service Engineer - Southern California

Weber Packaging Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to add to our team in Southern California to serve the Los Angeles area. Our best employees in this role have a strong mechanical aptitude, are technically savvy, have a positive "can do" attitude, don't mind travel, are very customer focused, and are very self-motivated. Most of the work occurs at the customer locations and therefore overnight travel can be approximately 3-4 nights per week. This role enjoys a base plus quarterly bonus compensation structure as well as a competitive benefit program.
Responsibilities

• Assignments will include traveling to planned, preventative, maintenance visits and installations of our label and print systems (industrial equipment).
• Managing all aspects of your assigned territory to include, but not limited to; responding to customer needs, establishing a rapport with assigned customer base, supporting customer training and events as required.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships, both internally and with customers.

Skills and Qualifications

• College or Technical degree or equivalent technical support experience.
• 1-3 years of experience as a field service technician or engineer, with background in service, print or packaging as a bonus.
• Proficient in MS Office, use of tablet, iPhone, laptop.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritize work.
• Ability to lift equipment and components up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
