One of our clients in Herndon , VA needs a System Engineer for a permanent position.

• Position: System Engineer
• Location: Onsite
• Position Type: Permanent

Job Description:
Support specializing in systems engineering to perform Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and Research & Development (R&D) for the Wireless Network & Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) Infrastructures.
Requirements:

• Deliver and maintain an end-to-end CSfC solution with a team of engineers.
• Conduct and evaluate results of R&D to evolve the wireless and WIDS service
• Elicit mobility and wireless requirements with Stakeholders
• Provide Tier 1-4 support for the Wireless & Intrusions Network Infrastructure.
• Experience with Apache and Wireless Network Engineering
• Experience in wireless security and designing and implementing a security system for an enterprise wireless environment
• Experience reading and building network design topologies (physical and logical)
• Experience working with RF Bands associated with wireless access points
