This position will be responsible for helping form metal parts and structural shapes according to shop drawings and specifications.Machine Operator Responsibilities:Adhere to safety protocols and practicesCoordinate with other team members as requiredRead and interpret blueprints & shop drawingsSetup and adjust parameters on material processing equipmentUse of overhead cranes to move material and position for processingRequirements:Ability to clean/maintain the work area and machineryStrong communication skillsAbility to or willing to learn how to diagnose/resolve issues or malfunctionsAbility to inspect processed materialMaintain accurate records for productionPerform routine preventive maintenanceSuggest/implement ideas to enhance production and qualityGood work ethicAbility to work overtime when necessaryGive proper attention to detailWork smart, safe, and adheres to PPE requirementsAbility to work in diverse weather conditionsStrong hand/eye coordinationLift and carry upwards of 5O poundsAbility to kneel, bend, and crouch for a period of timeAbility to stand in one position for extended period of timeNoteThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.
