Windows Engineer

Windows Engineer is required for a leading Quant Research firm who have recently moved to a new office in Downtown Dallas.

The organisation are a data-driven organisation who use near-infinite computing power to deliver world leading research in the financial field. You will join a key infrastructure team who have underpinned the success of this incredible organisation, and will be backed by 20 years of success.

What they're looking for:

• Expert level Windows fundamentals
• Strong Infrastructure as Code commercial experience
• Advanced PowerShell, Ansible and Python experience
• Understanding of CI/ CD pipelines
• Good Microsoft AD management exposure, including DNS, PKI, DCHP
• Strong VMware/ vSphere virtualisation experience
• Other experience includes Hashicorp, Prometheus, Grafana etc.

What you'll do:

• Maintain, optimize and enhance a huge windows-based infrastructure
• Upgrading current applications and researching/ implementing cutting-edge technologies
• Manage patching, deployment etc. of software deployments
• Automate Windows build and decommissions, using Ansible and Jenkins
• Manage the Microsoft remote infrastructure
