Job Requirements / Description
Key Result Areas:
  • Ensure shop safety rules and practices are followed.
  • Measure and examine completed parts in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Read blueprints
  • Program and operate CNC Foam wire cutting machine
  • Inspect and maintain quality standards to 0.1 inches
  • Communicate all pertinent job information with co-workers at shift change.
  • Make available to maintenance, requested equipment for preventative maintenance.
  • Utilize and ensure others use all the proper PPE and safety equipment as well as safety standards and procedures.
  • Notify supervisor of any problems and/or difficulties, as well as possible solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma
  • Able to read and understand process work instructions
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Basic math (add, sub, multi, div, decimals, fractions)
Experience:
  • 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience operating all types of basic machine shop equipment such as drills, mills, lathes, grinders, saws.
  • Experience operating 3, 4, 5 axis CNC machines.
  • Basic programming
  • Standard and metric terminology
  • Problem Solving
