ServiceNow Developer SME, TS/SCI Security Clearance Required

  • Full-time

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer SME to join the team in support of Federal Government clients. As a ServiceNow Developer SME, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. This position is 100% onsite. Qualified candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.

ServiceNow Developer SME Responsibilities:

  1. Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
  2. Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective solutions.
  3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.
  4. Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
  5. Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and tools used by Federal Government clients.
  6. Optimize application performance and scalability.
  7. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.
  8. Stay current with ServiceNow updates, patches, and new features.

ServiceNow Developer SME Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or master’s degree in software engineering, or related field.
  2. 5-10 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
  3. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification.
  4. Experience with ServiceNow APIs, integrations, and web services.
  5. Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices, such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  6. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Jira.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  8. ServiceNow Certified Integration Specialist Certification is a plus.
  9. Experience working with Federal Government clients and understanding of their requirements is a plus.
  10. Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Human Resources (HR), and Customer Service Management (CSM) ServiceNow applications.
