We are looking for a talented Instrument Engineer for one of world’s largest industrial gas companies to work the Southwest territory and be based out of either Houston, Atlanta, Birmingham or Nashville. This would be a hybrid position
Some Responsibilities Include:
· Provides technical, troubleshooting, and maintenance support to all plants within the area for all instrumentation equipment, including PLC/DCS hardware, control wiring, I/O transmitters, positioners, control valves, pneumatic systems, and analytical equipment.
· Assists with redlining, maintaining, and developing necessary electrical and instrumentation documentation.
· Support plant instrument technicians with troubleshooting and repair of failed instrumentation, including MOC guidance, plant/equipment outage and root cause analysis.
· Identifies, develops, and executes instrumentation turnaround maintenance including but not limited to instrument replacement, upgrades, new installations, and calibrations.
Completes area instrumentation technical reviews of MOCs and provide supplemental engineering data, drawings, analysis as necessary
Requirements :
· Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering discipline
· Minimum 5-7 years of experience in operational and engineering environment
· Ability to travel up to 25 - 40%.
