Job Duties:
This position will be responsible for all mechanical and structural design activities necessary to support the modification and modernization of our clients products throughout North America
Perform engineering tasks using established procedures. Create equipment layouts, undertake all necessary mechanical and structural calculations to confirm designs and generate final mechanical and structural designs.
Create detail, sub-assembly, assembly, and installation drawings necessary to satisfy the order scope.
EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of welding and machining is required
Experience with industrial equipment preferred.
A PE license or the ability to obtain licensure is a plus.
The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of machine design and structural engineering practice.
Experience in overhead material handling industry is highly preferred.
Familiarity with industry specifications including CMAA and ASME B30 is a plus.
EDUCATION:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or related field
