What You’ll Do
As a Backend Software Engineer at CloudKitchens, you'll be an integral part of our data-driven development team, contributing to the evolution of cutting-edge internal tools. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
- Data-Driven Development: Contribute to a data-centric development team.
- Project Planning: Engage in strategic planning for various internal tools.
- Agile Methodologies: Implement and test software using agile methodologies.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a collaborative team to enhance and support technology.
- Code Contribution: Write, debug, maintain, and test code for diverse projects.
- Architectural Design: Design scalable systems with a focus on architecture.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Innovation: Drive innovation within the team and support CloudKitchens' technological advancements.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Software, Computer Systems or Networks Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5-8 years of domain experience in the specified role.
- Individual Contribution: A track record of significant contributions in previous roles, showcasing your ability to make a meaningful impact.
- Strong ability to create complex models from scratch.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.

This role is based in our Seattle office location. We believe that people do their best work when they are together. As a company, we’re in the marketplace of ideas and innovation. When you’re constantly innovating, changing how an industry works, inventing new products and processes - and we are doing all these things - we believe we’re better as a team in person. That’s why all of our teams (except for our field-based roles) are now working from one of our office locations 5 days a week.
