IBM Sterling Software engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on IBM Sterling Software enginee r with 7 to 10 years of experience, specifically in IBM Sterling Gateway. In this role, you will manage inbound and outbound file transfers, perform ITX mapping, and provide essential production support. Your expertise in healthcare claims, particularly dealing with 837 healthcare claims records, will be crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the IBM Sterling Gateway, ensuring efficient file transfer operations.
• Oversee inbound and outbound file processing, including ITX mapping.
• IBM products - IBM Sterling gateway – sfg (file gateway) – file inbound and outbound, ITX mapping – MUST HAVE
• Provide production support, including root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Prepare resources for production support tasks, ensuring readiness and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize file transfer processes.
• Utilize Axway secure transport for file transfers.
• Work with Linux and Unix systems as needed.
• (Optional) Contribute to Java J2EE projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong experience with IBM Sterling Gateway (SFG) for file transfers.
• Proficient in handling 837 healthcare claim records.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Unix environments.
• Certifications: Relevant IBM certifications are nice to have
