Your Role

As a SQL database administrator, you will contribute to the Company’s success by maintaining, enhancing, and ensuring our SQL Server databases’ performance, security, and integrity.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
  • Implement regular backup and recovery procedures and test disaster recovery scenarios.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to optimize database structures, reports, queries, and procedures.
  • Monitor system health, diagnose and resolve database performance issues.
  • Keep software and patches up-to-date and perform upgrades when necessary.
  • Ensure data integrity and implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
  • Assist with capacity planning and forecast future database requirements.
  • Produce documentation for database designs, how-to articles, configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide on-call support for database-related emergencies.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
  • 1-3 years of experience as a SQL DBA or a related role.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States, full-time (Monday-Friday) with overtime as necessary, including weekends.
  • Ability to work on-site; this is not a remote position.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server tools, T-SQL, and performance tuning techniques.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery methods for SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of SSRS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to discreetly handle sensitive, confidential, and time-sensitive duties while maintaining a solid customer service orientation; and ability to effectively interface with all levels of staff.

Nice to Have But Not Necessary

  • PowerBI knowledge.
  • Construction application knowledge.

The reasonable compensation range for this position includes a new hire base hourly rate of $45.00 - $60.00 per hour + comprehensive benefits + potential for a discretionary profit-sharing bonus.

Individual pay within this compensation range may span multiple levels within the role and is determined by assessing job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. It also factors in market demands and business needs. The disclosed range may be subject to change or modification based on business needs in the future.
