Job Description
Position Summary:
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Media Systems Engineer to join a Production and Post Technology Group for an entertainment client. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, implementing, and designing media storage systems for our upcoming facilities. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of media systems, from procurement to deployment, including data closets, storage units, networking, firewalls, and video equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement media system solutions for production facilities.
- Maintain and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with production teams to understand their technical requirements.
- Deploy and manage networking solutions, firewalls, and storage systems.
- Provide support for video equipment and production workflows.

Minimum Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience as a Media Systems Administrator.
- Proficient in scripting with Python for workflow automation on storage systems.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, with at least 25% of the role involving cloud work.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Avid products, including Nexus storage and Media Composer.
- Familiarity with S3 and Lambda services.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience as a Broadcast Engineer, particularly with STI routers.
