We are looking for a Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer to start working with a client of ours in the Greenville, SC area as soon as possible. This candidate will be responsible for PLC programming, electrical design, continuous improvement, cost reduction, sustaining engineering, and custom product design innovation for our existing products, as well as the development and implementation of new products and processes.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Requirements5+ years experience in a manufacturing facility, with demonstrated experience functioning in a team environment, developing strongustomer relations.Strong engineering and technical background in PLC programming: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Pro-Logic, Compact Logic, Productivity.Hands-on experience in PLC programs using ladder, sequential function chart, function block diagram and structural test logic.Hands-on experience with the Factory Talk software for Industrial Monitors.Experience with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.Manufacturing and R & D experience a plus.Trade school or Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, but experience on the job is highly considered as well.Certification in relevant programming languages or automation technologies.Must reside and be eligible to work in the United StatesPay Rate: $40/hr - $50/hrTerm: 6 months temp to permLocation: Greenville, SC 29609If you are interested and would like to hear more about this position, please contact Jacob Perry at (470) 203-9211 or
