DESCRIPTION: S&P OpCo, LLC seeks a Quality Engineer who will develop and document application test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications. Design and develop test automation solutions. Evaluate requirements and define testing objectives and approaches while working in Agile methodology. Perform continuous review and improvement of the testing and quality assurance methodologies and measurement of these processes. Test and respond to Software Quality Assurance issues with related groups including Development, Database, Integration, and Customer Support. Understand business model and customer needs and apply/modify quality assurance (QA) techniques accordingly. Provide effective communication regarding issues, testing statuses, and potential risks. Effectively interact with global customers, business users, and IT staff. Manage and maintain QA environments along with build and deployments.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related IT/engineering field plus five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Quality Engineer or related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Experience with automation testing frameworks including Carina, Karate, and Cucumber; Experience with object oriented languages including Java; Programming experience with SQL; Developing and documenting application test plans and test cases; Integrating Selenium with Rest Assured; Running Maven projects from GIT Hub to Jenkins; Experience with UNIX operating system.LOCATION: 55 Water Street, New York, NY 10041 (Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.)SALARY RANGE:The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,280 to $170,400. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses & certifications.
