Position Overview:

A Systems Engineer to support the office-based and cloud-based infrastructure.

Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficiency of systems that support core organizational functions. This will be achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all office networks, on-prem software, cloud solutions, and SaaS platforms.

Additionally, will be required to quickly respond to escalated end-user tickets, perform technical tasks as requested by management, and be able to troubleshoot advanced problems across our infrastructure.

Will be required to accurately track, report on, and complete short-term tasks and long-term projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Administration of office WAN/LAN and Unifi Networking and WiFi
2. Administration of routers, switches, firewalls & VPN
3. Administration of cloud and network infrastructure (VMW, Azure, AWS, GCP)
4. Administration of Windows Servers, AD, Exchange Online and G-Suite
5. Administration of infrastructure monitoring and logging systems
6. Administration of security and access permissions for groups and individuals
7. Administration of infrastructure backups, restoration, and disaster recovery testing
8. Provisioning, management, and de-provisioning of user groups and accounts; documentation of all infrastructure, including networks, systems and procedures; and ensure all projects meet agreed upon deadlines.
9. Remotely respond to requests for Tier-2 technical support by phone, email, ticketing system, and Zoom remote-hands support, and provide technical expertise.
10. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

1. 8-10 years of work experience
2. Advanced Unifi Networking administration and devices
3. Ability to quickly and proactively communicate in a remote environment
4. Ability to complete short term tasks and long-term projects
5. Highly self-motivated, with extra attention to detail
6. Understanding of Okta, Zoom, Office 365, Slack and G-Suite
7. Experience with the administration of GCP, Azure
8. Experience with backups and recovery
9. Experience in Disaster Recovery
10. Experience in Intrusion Detection
11. Understanding of macOS and iOS

Skills:

1. Understanding of Ironscales, FreshService and Salesforce is a plus
2. Zoom VoiP / Zoom call center experience a plus

Salary: $165k - $170k/yr.
