Job Requirements / Description

The Corporate Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing engineering projects within our manufacturing facilities. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, project management experience, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
  • Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including operations, quality assurance, and supply chain.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical support and guidance for engineering design and process improvements.
  • Analyze project requirements and develop technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Foster effective communication among project teams and departments.
  • Present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements.
  • Implement best practices in project execution and engineering processes.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project engineering or management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
