CNC Machinist
Advanced Machine & Engineering is a diversified manufacturing company that designs, builds, & delivers carbide sawing systems, custom work holding solutions, & automation solutions for a variety of industries.
We are looking for full time CNC Machinists for both lathes, mills and grinding.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills and grinders to produce parts to print specification.
• Performs machining operations, such as turning, milling, grinding, drilling, boring, reaming and tapping of metal workpieces, analyzing specifications, and deciding on tooling according to knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures.
• Operates machines and observes machine operation, optimizing rates of production.
• Loads programs from off-line programmer, if available, or makes own program as required.
• Verifies dimensions of machined parts with precision measuring instruments and machine control. Works to tolerance of plus or minus 0.0005 inch.
• Documents results of inspections, as required.
• Communicates with co-workers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
• Follows company safety rules as prescribed by the company safety program.
• Performs routine daily maintenance on machine tool and maintains work area per company housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience required (lathes or mills).
• Knowledge of G&M code and/or Mazatrol programming a plus.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and gauges.
• Strong math and measuring skills.
• Ability to operate large overhead crane and operate forklift.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
