DescriptionWe can't predict what the future holds, but we know Texas Instruments will have a part in shaping it.This position is for a Process Development Engineer (PDE) in Advanced Technology Development (ATD) group at Texas Instruments. This entails responsibility for the development of test programs and the creation of innovative test solutions needed to generate critical data to support advanced technology development at TI. Desired skill set includes prior experience in test and measurements and also have programming skills to enable automation of test solutions for operational efficiency. The candidate would be responsible for the characterization that enables the technologists develop and improve process performance ensuring robustness, reliability, and manufacturability needs.Responsibilities include:Develop robust and cost-effective test solutions yielding high quality characterization dataDevelop parametric test programs and test solutions to enable process and component improvements via characterizationWork with multiple process integration, reliability, SPICE modeling, and to achieve the technology milestones and goalsDrive efficiency and continuous improvement through automation of testingThe person performing this role must be capable to manage multiple tasks in parallel, lead technical discussions in their area of expertise, and work effectively across organizational boundaries. They must be able to clearly communicate project status and actions. Additionally, they must be able to interface with multiple organizations and work well on a diverse team to accomplish goals.QualificationsMinimum requirements:Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related engineering degreeMinimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPAPreferred qualifications:Technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits, and test techniquesExperienced with various lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, SMUs, Keithley and/or Keysight testersAbility to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externallyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processesDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryWhy TI?Engineer your future.
