Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Structural Engineer/Branch Manager to lead our civil and structural engineering firm. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer with proven leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a passion for driving growth and expanding our client base. Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and strategic direction to the branch, overseeing all aspects of operations, including project management, client relations, and team management. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our client base and increase revenue. Identify new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with potential clients, and lead efforts to secure new projects and contracts.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact for their engineering needs. Ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded, and that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Project Oversight: Provide technical oversight and guidance on structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Review and approve project designs, calculations, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the branch.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of the branch, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Monitor project budgets and profitability, identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements, and take proactive measures to ensure financial success.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy in engineering deliverables. Monitor and evaluate project performance and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Proven track record of successful business development, client relationship management, and revenue growth within the engineering industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Sound technical expertise in structural engineering principles, design, and analysis.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
