Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering + experience designing water pumps & systems + 2 yrs experience in mechanical design in hydraulics

Job Responsibilities:

• Design both propeller and impeller pumps and the related nozzle discharges.
• Design and test new products
• Design molded components
• Make improvements to existing products
• Source parts and materials
• Develop BOMs

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years experience in Mechanical Design with an emphasis in hydraulics
• Experience with designing water pumps and systems
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics, pump curves, head, velocity, pressure drop, friction loss, and NPSHr
• Proficient in SolidWorks
• Experience in Materials (various metals and plastics)
• Plumbing and electrical experience a plus, but not necessary.
• Experience in electrical components, construction and/or maintenance services is preferred, but not required.
• A quick learner with good communication skills.
• A team player who is positive and motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Working with a team to achieve results.
