Java SDET Lead | 10-14 years | Hybrid | Dallas, TX, USA

Must Have:

1. 10 -14 years of experience in Selenium # Java Test Automation
2. Experience with Java-based test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Cucumber, and JUnit
3. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based test automation frameworks and scripts using BDD and TDD
4. Work closely with developers to implement test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices.
5. Automate all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing.
6. Develop and maintain test data sets.
7. Execute test cases and report on test results.
8. Work with Dev team members to identify and resolve defects.
9. Stay up to date on the latest Java and test automation technologies.
10. Good to have - Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
11. Work with the product owner and development team to define and prioritize test cases to meet sprint goals and automation goals for CI/CD pipeline.
12. Experience with Automation framework development is MUST.
13. Scope and estimate the test automation effort for user stories.
14. Must have hands-on experience on Selenium, and other automation tools.
15. Good understanding of web development and related technologies - HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
16. Strong Knowledge of Page Object Model.
17. Strong experience in Webservices (SOAP-UI) and WSDLs
18. Knowledge, skills and experience in OpenAPI in YAML or JSON

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with source code revision control systems like GIT.
2. Experience with build tools like Maven, Gradle.
3. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities, set expectations and get things done.
4. Ability to analyze and resolve problems of moderate to high complexity, requiring strong knowledge of systems and software technologies.
5. Ability to perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, solution development, and implementation within specific technology areas.
6. Experience with cloud-based testing platforms
7. Experience with performance testing and security testing
8. Experience with open-source test automation tools and frameworks
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based, Customer service-oriented environment with a high regard for hospitality.
