What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a seamless customer experience while maintaining high standards of protection and availability
2. Design, build, and troubleshoot scalable, resilient distributed systems
3. Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle
4. Participate in design sessions and code reviews to improve engineering quality
5. Contribute to business initiatives and present findings during scrum meetings

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a relevant engineering major by May 2025
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
3. Advanced coursework and hands-on experience with at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#
4. Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Previous professional software development internship experience
2. Well-rounded experiences demonstrating strong engineering skills through various projects
3. Basic understanding of developer tooling across the software development lifecycle
4. Familiarity with HTML-5, JavaScript/TypeScript, XML, JSON, and RESTful Web Services
5. Knowledge of Monitoring Tools and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
