What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a seamless customer experience while maintaining high standards of protection and availability
- Design, build, and troubleshoot scalable, resilient distributed systems
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle
- Participate in design sessions and code reviews to improve engineering quality
- Contribute to business initiatives and present findings during scrum meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a relevant engineering major by May 2025
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Advanced coursework and hands-on experience with at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous professional software development internship experience
- Well-rounded experiences demonstrating strong engineering skills through various projects
- Basic understanding of developer tooling across the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with HTML-5, JavaScript/TypeScript, XML, JSON, and RESTful Web Services
- Knowledge of Monitoring Tools and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
