This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis.

Job Location: San Francisco, CA

Schedule: M-F (8am – 5pm) (on-site)

Duration: 24-month contract

Pay rate: ($80 - $90/hr)

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft Teams and Cisco Unified Communications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft Teams and Cisco Unified Communications environments.
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of new features and updates.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure integration and interoperability between communication systems.
  • Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help users effectively utilize Microsoft Teams and Cisco Unified Communications.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Manage change within the organization to minimize disruption during the migration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in unified communications technologies.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Hands-On Experience with Cisco telephony systems and Microsoft Teams, including previous migration projects and managing VoIP solutions.
  • Consulting or Implementation Experience in telephony solutions and handling large-scale migrations.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Teams and Cisco Unified Communications.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies, SIP, and telephony systems.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, routing, and network security.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco VoIP solutions, and Avaya communications Manager administration and implementation.
