In this role, you'll be at the forefront of planning, developing, and implementing innovative software solutions that empower mission operators to execute tasks within spacecraft transportation. Your ingenuity and drive will directly influence the evolution of the company as it expands in both size and intricacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of all facets of software engineering and product development.
• Engage proactively with end-users to understand their challenges and devise effective solutions.
• Contribute your insights to team discussions on architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Develop new applications to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with subsystem teams and external stakeholders to enhance software tools and data products continually.
• Design, build, integrate, test, and deploy large-scale ground software and mission control systems, including operator GUIs and automation tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in full-stack development.
• Demonstrated capability to independently design, develop, and test software solutions from scratch.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
• Eligibility to obtain a Secret and/or TS/SCI clearance.
• Space industry experience

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby, C#, Java, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Experience in designing and implementing microservices.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with defect-tracking software like Jira.
• Background in building and delivering complex systems to satisfied customers.
