Responsibilities
- Design and develop database architectures and systems
- Develop database monitoring metrics for database performance analysis and tune/optimize SQL queries
- Develop and maintain database schemas and integrate JSON and XML data with relational databases
- Design and develop BI datasets for reports and dashboards
- Maintain database objects in a software version control environment
- Collaborate with application developers to provide reporting capabilities for the business (using SSRS, Power BI or other BI solutions)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in scalable database design and optimization, including the use of the profiler with performance monitor, replication, backup/restore and security management
- Experience in ETL development, data integration, JSON and XML schema creation and transformation
- Familiarity with web services, REST APIs and data integration techniques in .Net environments
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze complex data scenarios and provide effective solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
