The Role
Bloomerang is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be in a leadership role that plays an important part in ensuring the success of our software development teams. You will directly manage 1-2 teams of engineers that work on cloud native web applications and collaborate closely with other team members, Product Managers, QA, and DevOps.
What You Will Do
- Lead 2 teams of 2-5 engineers in the development of cloud native applications
- Establish clear performance standards, and ensure goals are met
- Provide career mentorship and coaching to engineers
- Cultivate relationships with product, QA, DevOps, and others to better understand and deliver business needs
- Hire and onboard new team members
- Be a critical part of the engineering leadership team
What You Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of software development experience with 2+ years of cloud native web development
- 2+ years of experience managing software engineering teams
- Strong management and leadership abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and common development practices.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is: $127,000 - $190,500. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
