Job Requirements / Description

The Application Developer assists in design, development, and maintenance of custom applications for the firm. This role will work closely with end users and the development manager to gain practical experience and contribute to projects that meet the firm's exacting standards for quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with end users to examine processes and brainstorm potential improvements, ensuring a thorough understanding of their business needs to provide recommendations on leveraging supported technologies for customized solutions.
  • Identify and explain available technologies for end users, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages.
  • Assist in diagnosing and fixing technical support problems impacting custom applications and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and other enterprise systems.
  • Assist in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining custom applications using C#, .NET, Blazor, Graph API and other tools.
  • Develop technical and end user documentation; provide training for end users as needed.
  • Organization & Planning: Proactively takes actions, finds solutions, and displays skills to be efficient and productive.
  • Communication: Understands the importance of and demonstrates verbal, written, and non-verbal communications.
  • Team Player: Works within team and cross-functionally to meet required results.
  • Customer/Client Experience: Creates a consistent and exceptional experience for others, whether directly to external clients/customers or indirectly through internal support, that elevates the overall perception of the firm.

Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials in a business-related, technical, or scientific discipline.
  • 0-2 years professional experience in client-oriented roles, preferably in product development or legal service delivery.
  • 0-2 years of experience in software programming (e.g. C#, HTML, SQL, etc.) in either a professional or academic-research environment with an interest in further developing this skill set.
  • Solid foundation in software development best practices.
  • Familiarity with basic software development processes and technologies including version control, networking, web applications, databases, and cloud services
  • Familiarity with .NET C# web development preferred
  • Experience with Agile principles, values and practices is a plus

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.

Colorado Salary Range - $64,236 - $107,060 A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
