Insight Global is looking for a Drilling Engineer for an employer located in downtown Houston. This role will be based in a remote real time drilling center and will monitor rig operations remotely. The drilling support center is in place to prevent catastrophic process safety events and provide business units with workflows and digital solutions to deliver top performance. The center provides an additional layer of process safety (well control) support for wells as well as performance support for operations including Deepwater, Base Business and Unconventional asset classes. On a daily basis this drilling engineer will monitor anywhere from 4-10 rigs, will be responsible for communication between other business unit engineers, superintendents, etc. This role will interface with multiple teams and people globally, so strong communication skills are needed. This role will be onsite in downtown Houston working a 14 day on, 14 day off schedule and will rotate day and night shift.
