Position Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled General / Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a leadership role, driving the design, estimation, and integration of large-scale HVAC systems, and contributing to the continued success and innovation of the company.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, sizing, and quoting processes for complex HVAC systems, including blower and fan selection, and system integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize design and ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical components.
- Oversee and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Review and interpret project specifications to ensure designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Provide hands-on leadership during the fabrication process to ensure project quality and accuracy.

Qualifications :
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Proven 5+ years of experience in HVAC systems, with a focus on both mechanical and electrical engineering integration.
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams and overseeing complex projects.
- Proficiency in CAD and drafting tools for design and layout of HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards for hazardous locations (NFPA 496) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Certifications such as NATE Certification (North American Technician Excellence), HVAC Excellence Certification, or R-410A Certification are a plus!
- Experience developing and creating quotes and estimates during the bidding process for industrial or commercial related projects.
